PASTE_YOUR_COMPANY_OR_FULL_NAME ("we", "us") operates VicPicQuest. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information: display name, email address, password (stored only as a salted, hashed value), date of birth and time zone.
Content you share: photos, videos, titles, captions, alt text, comments and reactions.
Activity information: streaks, badges, and the amount of active time you spend on VicPicQuest each day (used for wellbeing limits).
Live Stage activity: channels you follow, your emoji cheers (counted, not tied to your name), short notes you send to a host (stored with your display name so the host can moderate them), and, for hosts, the Stages you schedule and run. VicPicQuest does not record Stages.
Feedback and reports: messages you send us and content you report.
Technical information: IP address and basic device/browser data in server logs, for security and abuse prevention.

How we use information

To provide, secure and improve VicPicQuest.
To verify age and apply age-appropriate protections, including time limits and a bedtime lock for members under 18.
To moderate content and enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines.
To respond to feedback and legal requests.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

Your posts, comments, display name, avatar, streak and badges are visible to other people as described in the app. Members under 18 have no public bio and do not appear on public leaderboards. We share information with service providers who help us run VicPicQuest (such as hosting), when required by law, or to protect safety and rights, including reporting child exploitation material to authorities.

Children

VicPicQuest is not for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it. See Teen & Children's Safety.

Retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Edit profile. Your account, posts, uploaded files, comments and reactions are then permanently deleted. Limited records may be kept where required by law or to prevent abuse.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information and to object to certain processing. Contact us at PASTE_LEGAL_EMAIL and we'll respond within the time required by law.

Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, account lockout after repeated failed logins, CSRF protection, strict content security headers, validated and isolated file storage and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Changes

If we make material changes we'll post the new policy here and update the date above.
